I am glad that professional musicians are keeping Zappa's music "alive." However, the version that is on track 1 of of "One Size Fits All" remains the best. Note: There are many recordings of Inca Roads done by groups assembled by Zappa but the one on "One Size Fits All" evidently does what cannot be done in live performances. This in studio tweaking is one of the many things that makes Zappa's music unique. It is too bad that Dweezil hasn't gotten anywhere near his father's creative side, but again I am glad that people are keeping Zappa's music alive. (First got into The Mothers and Zappa back in 1967 while in high school thanks to a classmate's brother.)

Quando ascolti un brano come Eberhard e lo riesci a capire ed apprezzare in tutta la sua bellezza, capisci che di Lyle c'è ne uno solo. Grande questo ensemlre, composto principalmente da giovani che sono riusciti in una esecuzione eccezionale che dimostra cosa vi sia dietro strumentalemnte a questo brano. Sentirlo non è come vederne l'esecuzione. Complimenti !!!!!

This is Fantastic! What a great body of superb musicians doing this piece absolute justice. Lyle is happy.

Enfin un conservatoire français qui s'attaque au répertoire de Lyle Mays ! C'est suffisamment rare pour le souligner. On mesure la complexité de ses arrangements quand on regarde et écoute ce très bel ensemble interpréter cette pièce difficile, avec brio et entrain. Le petit détail qui a toute son importance, c'est ce timbre retiré de la caisse claire pendant la dernière transition, le signe évident de la très grande attention portée par l'Ensemble au son de l'ensemble. Le résultat est bluffant. Merci à vous toutes et tous pour ce très beau travail, qui force le respect et rend bel hommage à cet exceptionnel musicien américain. Pour information, ce morceau fut composé et dédié par Lyle Mays à Eberhard Weber, un contrebassiste et compositeur allemand, collaborateur et ami proche du compositeur. La première mouture date de 2009 et 2010 et les enregistrements furent terminés en 2019 et 2020. C'est la dernière "contribution" de Lyle Mays réalisée avant sa disparition, et publiée 18 mois plus tard en 2021, à titre posthume.
